In 2003, Olimpia encountered the captivating creations of Mohamed Hilal in Sharjah, marking the start of a journey that would blend Italian elegance with the deep-rooted tradition of Arabian perfumery. Inspired by his work at Hind Al Oud, this meeting ignited a shared passion that would one day create Anfasic Dokhoon.
2005 • Summer
The Birth of Anfasic Dokhoon
On a warm summer evening in 2005, Mohamed brought Anfasic Dokhoon to life, naming it after the Arabic phrase meaning "breathing incense." Together with Olimpia, they spent countless hours shaping the identity of Anfasic Dokhoon—a brand dedicated to burning scents rather than mere perfumes, capturing the essence of Shay.
2007• April
The First Store Opens
Anfasic Dokhoon’s journey took a new step in April 2007 with the opening of its first store at Mercato Mall in Dubai. The store’s design broke traditional boundaries, featuring a minimalist luxury kiosk adorned in purple. This unique setup was an instant success, capturing the hearts of fragrance lovers in the UAE.
2010• July
A Brand Spreads Its Wings
With Olimpia and Mohamed’s shared vision, Anfasic Dokhoon expanded across the Middle East, establishing a network of stores in the GCC. Each location became a beacon of refined Arabian fragrance culture, bringing the concept of Shay to a growing, devoted customer base.

Mohamed Hilal
Mohamed Hilal, an Emirati entrepreneur, turned his passion for perfumery into a successful business. Initially a pilot for Emirates Airlines, Mohamed's deep-rooted love for oriental fragrances led him to found Hind Al Oud in 2001, achieving rapid acclaim, including winning 'Best Traditional Niche Fragrances' in 2004. His second venture, Anfasic Dokhoon, launched in 2007, modernized traditional Arabian perfumery with luxurious and contemporary packaging. Mohamed's dedication brought his brands to prominence, outperforming global names like Dior and Chanel. Awarded 'Business Man of the Year' in 2013, he continues to elevate regional perfume brands on the international stage.

Olimpia Mascolo
Olimpia's journey with scents began in childhood, crafting “magic potions” from boiled flowers. In 2003, she ventured to Grasse, the historic capital of perfumery, where she worked in an atelier, igniting a passion that would shape her future. Moving to the Emirates, she co-founded Anfasic Dokhoon in 2007, bringing a modern touch to traditional Arabian incense. Over the next 8 years, she expanded the Mohamed Hilal Group to 75 stores, known for attention to detail. Her dedication includes sustainable initiatives like the Aquilaria project in Vietnam and empowering women through the ‘Art of Perfumes’ workshops. She aims to inspire, honoring both humanity and nature through the language of scents.
